A special property of quest reward weapons that mimics the effect of a life magic damage vuln spell (e.g., Fire Vulnerability IV). The effect does not stack with a life vuln (whichever has a higher effect will override the effect of the other). This is similar to the the damage rending imbues that can be added using tinkering (e.g., Salvaged Red Garnet for Fire Rending). The difference being that the magnitude of the effect for weapon imbues is dependent on the weapon skill of the wielder, while the magnitude for Resistance Cleaving is fixed no matter who is wielding the item.
