Overview

Retrieve essences from the three Virindi dungeons to power the crafting forges for upgraded forge spells and experience rewards. They can also be given to the Arcanum for writs of refuge.

Walkthrough

Go to each of the three Power Forge dungeons. Each dungeon has the same layout, the only difference is that the higher level restricted dungeons have more formidable creatures.
Kill the Virindi Overseer located in the final area of each dungeon. The Overseer drops enough items for 3 people.
- Northern Overseer drops the Northern Forge Essence and Ring of Shielding
- Southern Overseer drops the Southern Forge Essence and Circlet of Shielding
- Western Overseer drops the Western Forge Essence and Band of Shielding
- Each overseer also drops the Inner Sea Directive
Take each of the Essences to an Agent of the Arcanum for a Writ + experience reward or hand them to a forge to receive an experience reward and to upgrade all forges from a Master [Craft Name]'s Boon (3 minutes) to a Master [Craft Name]'s Greater Boon (6 minutes).

Reforging the Past XP reward of 10,000,000 (100% up to level 60) added for northern essence. XP reward of 20,000,000 (100% up to level 72) added for southern essence. XP reward of 30,000,000 (100% up to level 81) added for western essence. Learning From Experience XP reward for northern essence increased from 8,000,000 (175% up to level 52). XP reward for southern essence increased from 45,000,000 (150% up to level 81). XP reward for western essence increased from 70,000,000 (100% up to level 102). The Quest for Freedom Quest timer changed from 27 days to 20 hours.
