Current Status of the Raids

Update November 7th:

7 raids have been presently identified. All have different stones.

A new boss creature was seen in Colier. A Patriarch's Inquisitor was found near the device when no other creatures were around. The Inquisitor dropped no special items (except a stone) but gave a local broadcast upon death. Shortly after dying the normal raid creatures spawned. After talking to the Royal Scout nearby I received a new title ("Marked by the Patriarchs") and 5 million xp.

A new raid location has appeared in the middle of the town of Silyun. The raid is a high level raid with Marauders rather than Raiders. Executioners spawned with this raid right from the start rather than building up to them over a week or so like the first two raids.

New boss creatures began spawning at Tou-Tou and the Isle of Tears. Several Patriarch's Executioners (Falatacot Undead in Green Robes) spawned near the device at Tou-Tou. They were the same as the Falatacot Marauders except they had 10,000 hitpoints. On the Isle of Tears Patriarch's Elite Raiders (Falatacot Undead in the usual red robes) began to spawn. Neither creature dropped any special loot, however, they appear to drop invoking stones at a 100% rate. When they die they give off a local area message.

At the two raid locations so far the spawns have been steadily expanding every time a new batch of creatures spawns. The first spawn was fairly sparse and less spread out around the area of the device. Now several spawns later the spawn in the case of Tou Tou is very thick and has expanded down to the beach below the lighthouse. The raid doesn't seem to be expanding toward the town though.

The trigger for what causes the spawn remains unknown. the "Leaving some of the creatures alive trick" works in tou-tou if everybody leaves the landblock for 10-15 mn, then the respawning process restart.

General

T'huun's forces are raiding different locations on Dereth. Floating pyramids have appeared over three towns and portal devices have appeared at several locations around Dereth. These devices are accompanied by raiding creatures. There is a Royal Scout that gives you three kill tasks for each of the different types of raiding creatures: Moarsmen, Scalvus, and Falatacot (Undead). All the raid monsters can drop Invoking Stones (33% drop rate). You can turn 30 stones in to the Royal Scout for a title and experience plus it appears to flag you for some unknown future content as well with Asheron's Investigator in Eastham.

Pyramid Locations:

Device/Raid Locations:

High Level Raids (Marauder Creatures)

Monsters: Falatacot Marauder, Moarsman Marauder, Sclavus Marauder, Patriarch's Executioner

  • 26.9S, 96.8E - Tou-Tou (Device near the base of the Tou-Tou Lighthouse)
  • Silyun, (Device in the center of town)
  • 69.5S, 40.0E - Southern Osteth Menhir Ring, (Device in the middle of the stone ring)
    • Route to Southern Osteth Royal Scout:
      1. Take the Kara portal in the bunker outside Shoushi at 33S 73.2E
      2. Goto Lake Thrasyl Settlement portal at 82.9S 48.2E
      3. Run to the scout at 69.5S, 40.0E

Low Level Raids (Raider Creatures)

Walk Through

  1. Head to one of the raid sites listed above and speak to Royal Scout there.
  2. Start kill tasks for 50 Moarsmen, Sclavus, and Falatacot. The creatures also drop Invoking Stones about 1/3 of the time.
  3. Turn 30 Invoking Stones in to the Royal Scout at that raid site.

Items

Note

  • When you turn in the Invoking Stones to the Royal Guard he takes all the stones not just 30 so if you pick up more than 30 the extra will be wasted.
  • High Level characters that complete the lower level raids will still get a grand casino key, however, they will not get any experience.
  • Invoking Stone stack size is 30.
  • All guards give the same kill tasks, talking to any guard to receive the kill task or the reward. The only difference in the guards is the type of Invoking Stone they take.
  • All raiders or marauders count toward the same kill task no matter where they are. So killing a Marauder in Silyun is the same as killing a Marauder in Tou-Tou.
