Walk Through

Shield

1. Head to the Northern Infiltrator Keep (80+) at 15.4N, 5.0E, near Zaikhal.
2. Proceed to the end of the dungeon and destroy the Northern Infiltrator Master.
3. Loot the Shield of the Simulacra and the Northern Infiltrator Message Shard from the corpse.

Helm

1. Head to the Southern Infiltrator Keep (80+) at 52.3S, 24.9E, near Khayyaban.
2. Proceed to the end of the dungeon and destroy the Southern Infiltrator Master.
3. Loot the Helm of the Simulacra and the Southern Infiltrator Message Shard from the corpse.

Orb and Imbuing

1. Head to The Asteliary (80+) at 10.2S, 17.5E, near Samsur.
2. Proceed to the end of the dungeon and destroy The Crafter.
3. Enter the dungeon. You will need to use Bludgeoning or Slashing against mobs here. You'll 1st face some drudges. The dungeon has a lot of dead ends and is linear in places. It's a big maze of wrong turns and dead ends. The general rule of keeping to the right does not work here. For the most part, almost all of the turns will be left ones.
4. Follow the path until you reach the first T intersection. At the T, turn LEFT followed by another LEFT and then you will be heading up a ramp that leads into a room with 4 Simulacra Fighters. Kill the fighters and exit the room to the LEFT. At the next intersection, turn RIGHT. Follow the corridor until reaching another larger room. Turn RIGHT and go down the ramp descending from the LEFT of the next intersection.
5. You are now on the last floor. The CRAFTER is on this floor. The Trick here is to go to the far end of the floor. You will run into some Virindi Consulor's on this floor. If you run into the Crafter in the hallway, kill her. Otherwise, you will find her in a room surrounded by Sneaky Simulacra Archers. The spawn rate in this room is about 2 minutes. Make sure if you are in a group that you all surround the spawn point of the Crafter for everyone to loot her after each re-spawn and kill.
6. Loot the Asteliary Orb, the Asteliary Crafter's Message Shard and the Asteliary Gem from the corpse.
7. Combine the gem with either the Shield, Helm, or Orb to upgrade it. Note: The timer to pick up the gem is 30 days, however the gem is tradeable so it can be acquired with other characters. Only imbue the item with the character who you intend to use it with - imbuing an item stamps it with a spells can only be activated by crafter restriction.

Experience

1. Proceed to Zaikhal and give each of the looted Shards to Diyas al-Yat for experience points.

Notes

• During the Filling in the Blanks event, experience rewards were introduced. They are obtained upon turning in the message shards, which are now attuned/bonded and on a 27 day timer.
• During the Learning From Experience event, the experience rewards were increased from 1,500,000 (100% up to level 36) for both infiltrators and 4,000,000 (100% up to level 47) for the crafter to 2,630,000 (175% up to level 36) and 6,000,000 (150% up to level 47).
• During the Lessons from the Past event the following changed were made;
  • The Monsters in each of the 3 dungeons Northern Infiltrator Keep, Southern Infiltrator Keep and The Asteliary were updated.
  • The Asteliary Orb, Imbued Asteliary Orb, Shield of the Simulacra, Imbued Shield of the Simulacra, Helm of the Simulacra and Imbued Helm of the Simulacra were all updated.
  • The Maximum XP for this quest was raised to 136,000,000xp.
