Overview

There are four Thrungus dens on the outskirts of Sanamar. The Thrungus have been stealing shiny objects from the royal halls of Sanamar. Return the stolen items to the Portal Guardian and you will be rewarded.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Speak to the Portal Guardian to receive Thrungus Hovel Locations.
2. Head to each of the Hovels listed below (and in the text).
3. In each hovel you will find two old chests that contain one of the stolen items:
   1. Stolen Necklace
   2. Stolen Platter
   3. Stolen Ring
   4. Stolen Brew Kettle
   5. Stolen Amulet
   6. Stolen Ewer
   7. Stolen Bracelet
   8. Stolen Frying Pan
4. You will also find part of a journal written by Sir Binwas Loc who was investigating the disappearance of items from Sanamar:
   1. The Thrungus - Part I
   2. The Thrungus - Part II
   3. The Thrungus - Part III
   4. The Thrungus - Part IV
5. Hand each stolen item to the Portal Guardian for experience rewards.
6. You will also receive a Viamontian Guardian Bracelet for the stolen platter, kettle, ewer frying pan items, which can be handed in for pyreals.

Portal Guardian tells you, "The Kingdom has need of new recruits. The thieving Thrungum have stolen many items of great value from the King's Royal Hall. You are to infiltrate the Thrungus Hovels and retrieve any items you may find and return them to me or one of my peers."

Portal Guardian tells you, "There are four Hovels on this island, and two items in each Hovel. I only require that you return one of the missing items from one of these dungeons. However, if you wish to retrieve all eight items, I will reward you for each one."

Portal Guardian tells you, "Consult this note for the locations of the Thrungus Hovels. And stick to the roads. There are dangerous creatures within these forests."

Portal Guardian gives you Thrungus Hovel Locations.

Handing in Stolen Items

You give Portal Guardian Stolen Necklace.

Portal Guardian tells you, "You have done well. The Kingdom of Viamont rewards its allies. You would do well to remember that."

You've earned 12,000 experience.

Portal Guardian gives you 200 Pyreals.

Portal Guardian tells you, "You may wish to visit Lorca Sammel next. I hear tell he has need of assistance. You can find him at 71.9N 60.9W. When you're done with Sammel, pay a visit to the Barkeeper Jean Vaden. He sells rumors you may find of interest."

Handing in Viamontian Guardian Bracelet

You give Portal Guardian Viamontian Guardian Bracelet.

Portal Guardian tells you, "Outgrown your bracelet, have you? I suppose I could take it off your hands."

Portal Guardian gives you 1,000 Pyreals.

Update History

Throne of Destiny (expansion) Quest introduced. Learning From Experience XP reward for each item increased from 3,000 to 12,000.
