Walk Through

The quest begins in Sawato with Sergeant Huang. You can easily reach Sawato by heading to Shoushi and taking the Kryst portal just outside the town walls on the northeastern side. Then, run to Umbral Halls(30+) at 75.8S 83.1E. Upon entry, turn around and enter the southern hallway. A portal to Sawato is the first portal on the left.

Sergeant Huang tells you, "Hello, I am Sergeant Huang, apprentice to the Ryu Jou Gai, temple of the Dragon of Power. The people of Sawato, in this obscure swamp, have gone unnoticed and unprotected for too long. Because of this bandits have moved in and are extorting the people of Sawato. As an apprentice to the Ryu Jou Gai I have been charged with organizing efforts to remove or at least hinder these bandits."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "Take this mask, I believe it will allow you to infiltrate the Bandit's hideout. Their hideout can be found near 25.6S 56.5E. Talk to the Barkeeper there, our intelligence leads us to believe he acts as some sort of door man."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "Gain access to the base of these bandits and bring me back any information you may find about their activities in this region."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "May you be guided by the Four Stones of Jojii."

Once you talk to Sergeant Huang you can then head out to the Unfriendly Barkeep at 25.3S, 56.6E in a building in the middle of the swamp. Before you talk to him put on the bandit mask that Huang gave you. He will think you are a recruit and let you go in the trap door behind the bar.

Unfriendly Barkeeper tells you, "I don't think I have seen you around these parts before... You must be one of those new recruits."
The Barkeeper sneers at you.
Unfriendly Barkeeper tells you, "Get out of here, go around back and use the trap door!"

Sawato Bandit's Hideout - ACmaps

Inside you will find the level 155 Sawato Bandits. You need to kill 15 bandits in order to enter the Ringleader's Chamber portal. If you are a warrior it is easiest to fight the bandits through doors when possible. Avoid fighting them in large groups if you are at or just over level 100. And be careful of the bandits wielding Hollow Crossbows.

When you have killed 15 bandits, head to the Ringleader's Chamber. The ringleader, while still named simply "Sawato Bandit" has more health and wears a white Chiran suit. Kill the leader and take from his corpse the Sawato Bandit's Ledger. Take the Sawato portal in the Ringleader's chamber for a quick way back to Sergeant Haung.

You give Sergeant Huang Sawato Bandit's Ledger.
Sergeant Huang tells you, "I see you have found a ledger, this will serve us quite well."
You've earned 3,500,000 experience.
Sergeant Huang gives you Old Footlocker Key.
Sergeant Huang tells you, "Take this key, you will find an old footlocker here with me. In that footlocker you will find rewards that will assist you in continuing your good deeds throughout these lands."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "Take the weapon and the shield and select only one of the breastplates."
Sergeant Huang tells you, "If you feel you do not need these items you may return them to me and I will reward you differently."
