- To enter this dungeon you must have completed the Tanada House of Storms, Tanada House of Earth, then the Tanada House of Water quest at least once before, and have talked to Pau Yajin in Sawato.
- The entrance to the dungeon is behind a door in a hole in the ground near a mage tower like structure. You need to kill the Black Water Gatekeeper to get the Black Water Key to open the Black Water Threshold. The portal to the dungeon is behind this door.
- A Shrine of Black Water can be found inside the Mage Tower.
