| == AC Manual ==
| |
| Hey, I have a digital copy of the AC1 manual if it will help you with your articles (copy + paste seems to work with it). I would have mentioned earlier, but I completely forgot I had it on my Google Drive.

| |
| Hey Adventurer, just letting you know that the robots.txt error seems to fixed now. I had the same problem when I was trying to double check an old text on Maggie's site.

| == live events ==
| |
| Thanks, and nice work with all your lore pages.
| |
|
| |
| Do you think it's worth having pages like Carraida's Avenger and Captain Burnja Attacks as event pages? They were both triggered events, but one is more like a quest and the second is so trivial it hardly seems worth even mentioning it. Some others were kinda weak events as well, like when the Leviathan appeared. I was trying to get some sort of chronology with lore/events going. Would you do it any differently?
| |
|
| |
| also, what are your thoughts on consolidating the character NPC pages into a single page. For example, like Hoshino Kei (Unwed), Hoshino Kei (Wed) into Hoshino Kei (NPC. I already sort of did it with Bael'Zharon (Creature).

|
| |
| Thanks

| == Redirected splash screens ==
| |
| Hey
| |
|
| |
| They did appear broken at first, but when I did a null edit (edit and saved without changing anything), the images appeared correctly. Tlosk told me about this a while back, something to do with the cached version being displayed. It's documented here: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Purge.
| |
|
| |
| I've been trying to clear out all the duplicate images using this script I found. I saved the results of the script at ACCWiki:Duplicate Image List. I've cleared most larger images out now leaving pretty much just icons which are reused so many times it's not even worth trying to do.

| Hello,
| |
|
| |
| Sorry to bother you. As far as I can tell you were the last admin to log in here. :)
| |
|
| |
| My name is Chris L'Etoile, and At The Dawn Of The Internet, I worked on AC1 and AC2. Since then I've wandered through a few places - BioWare, ZeniMax Online, Waystone Games, and currently Wizards of the Coast.
| |
|
| |
| For the last five years, with devs getting death threats and culture warriors doxxing and swatting people who say things they don't like, I've become more cagey about posting personal information about myself or my family. So far as I tell, the AC wikia has one of only two identifiable photographs of me available online. Both were taken in 2001, at the ACPL or the afterparty for it. Yours is at: asheron.wikia.com/wiki/File:Chris_L'Etoile.jpg

| |
| I would sincerely appreciate it if you'd consider taking this picture down. The time when I was okay being seen on the internet, and the time when it was safe to do so, are long since past.
| |
|
| |
| Thank you for your time, and I'm glad some people still love AC. :)
