Portal Bots are automated player characters run by Decal scripting programs that allow them to summon portals on command. The differences between a portal bot and a buff bot are 1) portal bots do not buff players, and 2) portal bot programs take advantage of multiple characters on the same account, allowing for much more than the two portal ties a buff bot can provide.
