Story Arc:
Introduced: The Calm Previous Event - All Live Events - Next Event

Summary

  • Three Lugian emissaries appeared in each of the starter towns with the offer of building special crafting forges. When used, the forges would give players a boon to their trade skills.
  • Players had to retrieve essences from the Virindi Power Forges to start the forges. After the essences were gathered they could then be handed into Kerrak and his two other Lieutenants to spawn the crafting forges in the each of the starter towns.
  • Even though the forges are now built, you can still retrieve the essences and hand them into an Agent of the Arcanum for a Writ of Refuge. You can also give them to the crafting forges for experience and to permanently upgrade them so you obtain a longer-lasting spell. See the Power Forges quest write-up for details.

Emissary Kerrak

Kerrak tells you, "Isparian, hear my offer."

Kerrak tells you, "Working with my citadel brothers, I discovered a way to construct forges which will bestow crafting boons to those that use it. We desire to place these forges within our citadels that we might better equip our warriors with the supplies which are so necessary in combat."

Kerrak tells you, "However, we require the assistance of one brave enough to delve the depths of the Virindi Power Forges. The Overseers of those Forges carry a Forge Essence which I need if I am to construct these crafting boons."

Kerrak tells you, "If you can venture into one of these pits and retrieve a Forge Essence, I will reward you handsomely. In addition, in my appreciation I will place five crafting forges for all of your people to use."

Kerrak tells you, "The Northern Power Forge lies upon the northern shore of the Inner Sea. Be safe, young Isparian, and be quick. My time here is short. I shall leave your lands before the snow recedes."

You allow Kerrak to examine your Western Forge Essence.

Kerrak tells you, "This is not the Forge Essence which I require. Perhaps you should visit my kinsman, Urleg. He may be found in Yaraq at the moment. But you must not tarry. We shall not remain on your shores for long."

You allow Kerrak to examine your Inner Sea Directive.

Kerrak tells you, "I have no need of such reconnaissance. But you would do well to heed the words within it. It appears the Virindi have some plan for you Isparians."

You give Kerrak Northern Forge Essense.

Kerrak tells you, "If you were not so small, I would invite you to join our citadel as a fellow in arms."

Kerrak tells you, "I shall not forget my promise. As a gesture of appreciation, I shall erect a series of crafting forges in the town of Shoushi."

<Player Name> has defeated the Northern Overseer and delivered its Forge Essense to the Lugian Kerrak. In exchange, Kerrak has assembled and activated the crafting forges in the town of Shoushi. Crafters the world over owe a debt of gratitude to the mighty <Player Name>!

The incantations to create these forges are arcane indeed!

Please wait a moment, I suddenly feel the need to meditate upon them.

Half a moment, as I contemplate the infinite crafting mysteries of the universe!

Ah! The beauty of my crafting forges! I am so fortunate that such a brave adventurer was able to bring me the forge essense that I required.

Such a lovely day we're having, don't you agree?

Voila! I have finished my meditations. Alright, who's next?
