Walk Through

  1. [Optional] Purchase the rumor A Shadow Spire on the Caul.
  2. From the Singularity Caul portal drop, run to 91.8S 92.7W and clear the mobs underneath the Shadow Spire. This will trigger another spawn to appear, which you must defeat to trigger the third and final spawn.
  3. After the third is cleared, Isin Dule's Lieutenants will appear:
  4. Kill all 3 and then enter the portal that spawns beneath the spire.
  5. Climb the stairs to the top of the tower, where you'll find Captain Faalx.
  6. When Captain Faalx is killed, a portal to the Spires Head opens above you on the ceiling. Double-click it to enter.
    • Note: The portal can be difficult to see, it looks like a black swirling mist on the ceiling.
  7. Kill the Shadow Cyst, and loot a Boney Lump of Flesh (key) from its corpse (Drops 10 keys).
    • Note: The Cyst casts the spell Black Madness that reduces all skills by 30% for 1 minute. It also spawns a group of Shadow creatures when its health reaches 50%.
  8. Use the Boney Lump of Flesh to open the Fleshy Trove on the ledge nearby. It contains the Shield of Isin Dule and a Fleshy Lump.
  9. [Optional] If you have no use for the shield, you can hand to to Sarkin Killcrane at 61.9S, 51,5W in Wai Jhou for up to 10 Million XP.

Captain Faalx falls with an angry growl. An ominous black mist begins swirling on the ceiling.

Bretself the Translator tells you, "This seems to be orders to the Shadows under Isin Dule's command. Oh my, he raised a Shadow Spire? He's ordering his forces to stop some High Archon of the Raven Hand. Here, take a look."
Bretself the Translator gives you Isin Dule's Orders.

Killcrane handles the shield with apprehension and disgust.
Sarkin Killcrane tells you, "Hmm... I've seen some of the tougher shadows armed with these things recently. Thank you for bringing me this, I'll destroy it before it spreads the shadow taint. Here, take this in exchange."
