  10. Fight your way further down to Amaroth. Kill him and loot A Patch of Balor's Fur from his corpse (he drops 5), and, if needed, a Coda.
  11. You can, but must not, fight your way further down to a room with a fast spawn of Shadow Lugians. Kill the Shadow Lugian Portal, and a portal will spawn
  12. Enter, and you will see a NPC Shadow Lugian, called Shadow. If you talk to him, he portals you to Sub.
  13. Return to Lord Kresovus in Linvak Tukal, and hand him the Coda to get experience. Handing him A Patch of Balor's Fur gives you additional experience,

Detailed Walk Through

The Shadow Lugian Stronghold

After talking to Lord Kresovus in Linvak Tukal, make your way to the Shadow Lugian Stronghold about 15 clicks from [[Ford Tethana] at 12.2N 81.1W.
Easiest way is if someone has a Shadow Lugian Stronghold Portal Gem, dropped by Shadow Commanders
If not, shortest way is from Aerlinthe, the Northern Direlands Portal. Alternatively, you can run from Teth, or use the Black Spawn Den Portal Device to get to the Black Spawn Den neat Teth.

The Dungeon is a hole in the ground.
From the drop, go N down a few ramps, and through a series of smaller rooms. The most NW room has an exit down and S.
Head west through a room with a grate over lava and up a ramp.
Follow the corridor first W and then S till you see the portal.

The Inner Stronghold

Drop is safe. After portaling, you will see a few imprisoned Lugians.
S down a ramp, next W, and a small room. To the W side, a corridor ends in a locked door which can be picked.
However, the key is near the first Boss Shoktok. To find him, go S out of the room and hug the left wall.
Kill Shoktok for one of the Codas and the Doppelganger Shield.
Pick up the Filthy Key, which lies upon a barrel near Shoktok/
Backtrack back up and unlock the door.
Follow the corridor, you can go only one way, until you see a huge lava room.
Kill Urleg and loot a Doppelganger Robe, and if necessary, a Coda for the second person in your group.
Go out of the room to the E, and S. Next is Amaroth, who drops A Patch of Balor's Fur and another Coda.
If you go further S and down, you will come to a room with a few fast spawning Shadow Lugians. Because of the hollow rocks, best is to lure m out around the corner.
In this room, a Shadow Lugian Portal, which looks like a tentacle dark muddy cloud, should be killed. It can't be imped.
After it is killed, a normal portal spawns. Enter it, and you will meet an NPC, a nameless, typeless Lugian Shadow. Talk to him, and he'll portal you to sub.

Return to Lord Kresovus for your reward.

Lore & Dialog

From the Roll Out Article of Infiltration:

Amaroth looked down at his flesh. The grey was fading, but the form remained. He noticed that the same was happening to his brothers. It seemed the Master's magics weren't as long-lasting as they had hoped.
Urleg kicked the wounded Mattekar into the cell, then slammed the iron gates. The beast roared and crashed its massive body into the bars, rocking them in their stone moorings. "We cannot keep it here," Urleg growled. "This cage cannot hold."
"I know," Amaroth agreed. "He will be here soon. The beast will be his problem then."
Urleg hefted a boulder, then looked to his brother. "Shoktok is in position?"
"Yes," answered Amaroth, taking up his own weapon. "As should we be. No doubt, Lord Kresovus is rallying the Isparians against us. They will be here soon."
Urleg smiled, clearly relishing the fight ahead. "Excellent."

Lord Kresovus tells you, "Greetings, small one. It looks like we have seen the worst of the siege on Linvak Tukal, but not without losses. My poor Balor..."
Lord Kresovus tells you, "My scouts still report the demons who attacked us have a base somewhere in the northermost reaches of the Direlands."
Lord Kresovus tells you, "If you seek to repay the invaders who took so much from us then seek them there. Return whatever information you might find."

Lugian Prisoner tells you, "Though they saw fit to lock us in these filthy cages, they took Balor somewhere deep within. I fear what plans they may have in store for our Lord's most favored companion."
Lugian Prisoner tells you, "There was something about the infiltration... something about the ease at which the Shadows were repelled. I fear there is some aspect of this plot that remains hidden from view. I only hope we might uncover it before these Shadows get the best of us."
Lugian Prisoner tells you, "Friend! You have come to aid us!"
Lugian Prisoner tells you, "These Shadows hail from somewhere deep within. I know not what lies down there. Some sort of portal to the world below, I fear. You must travel to the bottom of this pit. Shut down their access to the surface world. Otherwise, I fear we may become overrun with these demons."
Lugian Prisoner tells you, "As for us, leave us be. We will wait for their security to grow lax, and then we will strike from within! We will take these curs by surprise and avenge the glory of Linvak Tukal!"
Lugian Prisoner tells you, "There was something about the infiltration... something about the ease at which the Shadows were repelled. I fear there is some aspect of this plot that remains hidden from view. I only hope we might uncover it before these Shadows get the best of us."

The Shadow looks you in the eye, carefully examines you, and nods. It places a slick, oily hand on your forehead. You feel a tingling, numbing sensation in your gut. Then it is gone.
Shadow teleports you with Free Ride to the Abandoned Mine.

You give Lord Kresovus Coda.
Lord Kresovus tells you, "These are grim tidings indeed. But valuable - most valuable information. You have done Linvak Tukal a great service. You are indeed marked for greatness."
You've earned 6,882,668 experience.

You give Lord Kresovus A Patch of Balor's Fur.
Lord Kresovus tells you, "Balor... What have they done to you?"
Lord Kresovus slumps forward, obviously overcome with grief. After a short moment, he remembers himself, his position, and his company. Lord Kresovus straightens his back and looks you in the eye.
Lord Kresovus tells you, "I thank you for your service. The heart grieves, but..."
Lord Kresovus tells you, "Thank you."
You've earned 3,441,334 experience.
