Dryreach is besieged by Tumeroks, and has been since the launch of the game. When Dark Majesty came out, it was revealed that the Hea Tumeroks loyal to the Virindi use Dryreach as a training ground for Hea that have just left Marae Lassel for the mainland. Nearby are several Tumerok training camps belonging to their various clans. Dryreach is the starting point for a few quests, such as the Overlord's Sword, Dryreach Rescue, and the Tumerok Gladiator killtask. It is also the home of one of the two Tumerok Collectors on Dereth, the other being located in Fort Tethena.

Getting to Dryreach

Until recently, the only way to get to Dryreach was to run. Now there is a portal to Dryreach in Holtburg. Be sure to bring a Dryreach Key with you (purchased from the weary looking man in Rithwic or Eastham) unless you know how to pick locks or are able to leap over the town's walls.

Portal Connections

Dryreach only has one portal nearby, which leads to the swamplands in the eastern Direlands. This can be a very useful portal however as there are several quest dungeons in that area.
