Walk Through
Note: It doesn't matter which NPC you start at, but Yaraq has the closest portals.
- To begin, speak with one of the three NPCs that start the quest:
- Bhravarn ibn Salizim - 21.5S, 1.6W (Yaraq)
- Turien di Furza - 71.9N, 61.2W (Sanamar)
- Lucari di Bellenesse - 87.3N, 70.5W (Silyun)
- Enter the Cave of the Escaped Thief at 71.1N, 50.2W (near the Beach Fort).
- Tip: From Mayoi run to the Lady Maila Estates Portal at 60.9S, 80.3E.
- Hug the left wall to the bottom of the dungeon until you reach an Escaped Thief surrounded by 4 Abhorrent Eaters.
- Kill the thief and loot The Sword of Bellenesse.
- Return the sword to the NPC of your choice for a reward:
Tips
The cave is full of high-level grievvers (Bane Grievvers and higher), but they are fairly well separated and can be picked off one-by-one for the most part. Because it also has a quick--but manageable--respawn rate and there is no level requirement for entry, this is one of the best places in the game for any level to get Organic Acid for their Mage Armor quest.
