By default items on your watchlist are highlighted when you view the Recent Changes page. Also you can go to Special:Watchlist and only changes to pages on your list are shown. There is also a checkbox under preferences for "E-mail me when a page on my watchlist is changed" that you can check off (I've never done it myself so I assume it works but I don't know for certain).
There are hundreds of users with mismatched contributions, some that are many-to-one where several users have their contributions matched to a single other user. The Wikia tech I am working with says it should be fixed this weekend, but it may take longer. We will keep working on it until it is resolved though. --Tlosk talk contr 19:33, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
