Only offspring of Browerk, the leading Burun King, the Kukuur. When a Kukuur dies, his successor is determined by gestating one single egg. Birth is portentous and the offspring is expected to take his place after his death.[1]
Tkrowerk is too forward thinking and violates the edicts to not feed Mucor to the Ruuk. The Ruuk are a despised caste[2], the Guruk are warriors and the Kukuur are the ruling caste. The Guruk become cannibalistic, consuming the Ruuk. Ruuk watching their brethren become meals to their larger cousins begin to speak of revolt.[1] The revolt is short-lived and bloody. Both sides suffer many casualties and one of the eldest Kukuur is killed. In the end, cannibalism is outlawed and many of the Ruuk are sent to form clutches at the places where the Fiazhat's false gods (i.e. the Dark Falatacot) first made their appearances. [1][3]
The small pocket of Ruuk who are fed the mucor are sent to Tkoruk Guruul and Tkrowerk is put to death by his father.[1] He prophesied to the Ruuk Shaman Torgluuk that "I have seen one other, whose image is unclear. But its purpose is very clear: to be the Eye for all worlds. The Eye of the Sleeping One, the sun, the Light."[4]
