Luminous Armor Enchanting is a process in that allows players to imbue loot generated set armor with additional Critical Damage or Critical Damage Reduction rating points, up to a maximum of +2 to one or the other.
Overview
The process requires a great deal of Luminance, Stipends/ Promissory Notes, sacrificial armor, and potentially Lifestone Shards.
Within a Bookshelf at the Library at Asheron's Castle, you can find the lore book On the Art of Luminous Armor Enchanting, which describes the steps in the process.

Mechanics
- Requirements: e.g. required materials, skill level, enchant table tier (if applicable).
- Process: step-by-step or bullet list of how enchanting works.
- Effects: what bonuses the enchant gives — e.g. extra armor class, light emission, special resistances, drawbacks, duration, etc.
- Restrictions: what it cannot do, what armor types are excluded, stacking rules, compatibility, etc.
Examples / Variants
If there are multiple versions (e.g. basic Luminous Armor enchant, greater variants, etc.), describe them here. Use bullet lists or sub-headings.
Notes / Tips
- Luminous Armor Enchanting works on loot generated armor of certain Armor Sets. *Armor, once enchanted, can only be worn by the character that applies the enchantment.
- All parts of the Luminous Armor Enchanting system are Attuned, EXCLUDING: the final enchantment.
