Quest Overview

Explore the Eastham Sewer once used as a bandit hideout, and retrieve the Metal Round Shield and Samuel's Broad Sword.

Lockpick is needed for this quest.

Walkthrough

  1. [Optional] Purchase the rumor Directions to Eastham Sewer from Degel Parson the Scrivener in Eastham (17.5N, 63.5E - 2nd floor).
  2. Just north of Eastham is the Eastham Sewer located at 18.7N 63.4E.
    • Route: A shortcut can be made by using a Teleportation Device and then taking the Eastham portal from the east corridor. A portal is also found in the north hall of the Town Network.
  3. In the northeast corner of the dungeon a Matted Drudge Ravener drops a Gold Key that unlocks the door to the shield room (resistance 350) and also several loot chests.
  4. In the upper part of the dungeon a Drudge Stalker Pack Rat drops a Key that opens the chest (resistance 350) at the very top that holds the Metal Round Shield and the Slimy Broad Sword.
  5. Bring the sword to Samuel, Former Guardian for 8,800,000xp. He is found in the The Leaping Stallion tavern in Eastham at 17.7N, 63.1E.
