Crystalline Crag (Better for ranged characters) (Slash Rending)

Levels 90-110:

  • Move into the dungeon at the Crystalline crag (it’s 70+ but dense with spawn) or 90+ fiuns or 90+ eaters, if you go the final rout drop magic def and spec melee defense. Use slash rends for everything in this “tier”

Levels 110-130:

  • Same as above, improve weapons, instead of 90+ eaters head to 110+ eaters

Levels 130-140:

  • Vissidal: Slash Rend/Lightning Rend (mages should perch or kill golems, or go back to crag, archers perch) Archers/melee should lay an imp down with a runed weapon then use rends, slash on everything but rems and golems, use lightning on those.

Levels 140-150:

  • Stay on Vissidal or move to Egg Orchard (melee defense is helpful here, use bludge rend weapons (or pierce-rend/paradox weapons), or Path of the Blind (mages imp, melees use lightning rend).

Levels 150+:

Dark Isle

  • Mages: Soulbound Staff for Sleeches/golems, Shadowfire wand for shadows
  • Archers: Mukkir Slaying pierce rend, Lightning rend, Undead Slayer fire (or acid if you have olthoi arrows), imp then fire away
  • Sword: SoLL-shadow on shadows, Bloodscorch on undead, Pierce-rend bandit on golems, Pierce-rend mukkir slayer on mukkir, Lightning-rend on remorans (may not be worth killing those due to debuffs). Royal runed for imps, life magic/phials for fire vulns and purple rift orb to tattercoat shielded shadows.
  • General Melee: Mukkir-Slayer Pierce-rend, Undead-Slayer Fire-rend (or bludgeoning), royal runed for imps.

If you have the resources:

Hero Token – Ice wand – wand monkey by perching by the viamont staging area to hit 50 quickly then continue in fiuns or, if you have the rares and are not a mage, pop a weapon rare then wield a spectral weapon to move through the crag. Should be able to get you through to 110 before the spectral weapon goes away.

Original Information

This is a quick rundown of how to best level up newly created characters.

1-30

30-50

50-90

  • Viamont Staging Area - There are three locations outside Glenden Wood (the locations in the Viamont Staging Area quest) which spawn monsters instantly as long as the Pillars are not killed. A high level will typically fellow with a level 50, who sits in town. The high level can kill monsters at an extremely high rate, leveling the lower level character from 50 to 90 in one day.

90-110

  • Fiuns - Lightning works best here. They cast a lot of magic.

110-140 - 60 mil/hr

  • 110 Eaters dungeon (Ravenous Vault) - All melee, acid/pierce/slash/bludgeon. Melee D approaching 470 is around when they can never hit you. Slash works best on them.

140+ - 100-200 mil/hr

  • Egg Orchard dungeons - Similar to eaters - all melee, acid/pierce/slash/bludgeon. Use piercing or bludgeoning damage.
