Tattoo Rewards Edit
I believe all of the weapon skill tattoos cover the upper arms. The defense skill tattoos cover the lower arms. This way you can wear both a weapon and a defense tattoo at the same time.
The typo in the description for the Sword Tattoo (the only one I have to verify) says that it covers the Lower Arms when it does in fact cover the Upper Arms.
