Vagabond/Thief Class

Asked: 2000.11.28
Name: Enraged Troll
Question Title: Vagabond/Thief Class
Category: Character
Question: One class I really miss in AC is the thief class. Yes, I know we have vagabonds but I don't think I've actually ever seen one in game. Also, the only realy thing that sets that class apart is the easier time with lockpicking.
Will there ever be a 'real' thief class in AC? That is to say, one that lockpicks and can pickpocket other characters and/or monsters? (I don't consider stealing while someone is muling a thief class. That's just a snert).

Answer: I sincerely doubt it. Pickpocketing is a complex coding issue. Were it implemented, it would only be usable by and against PK characters. Thieves that face no consequences are called "grief players."
