Question: Ok here it goes:
i heard that when ya pump 226 points into a skill directly, ignroing the attributes every further point would cost 10 xp, is this true?
226 points for a specd skill would cost around 4.1 billion. Just curious.

Answer: Oh boy, another experience-cap question. I always get into trouble with these, but surely this time it will be different...

There is no on-purpose skill cap, but there is an effective cap on how much XP a skill can receive.

I'm not sure how many skill points this calculates into, but if you manage to put enough xp into a particular skill (a little more than 4 billion), you won't be able to raise it any more. The cost for the next point will be displayed as "Infinite". No-one has ever gotten any skill to this point as far as I know.

To put this in perspective, you need 4 billion points of total XP to get to level 126. If you put every single point of XP you earned from level 1 to level 126 into one skill, you would max out that skill. Since it is pretty much impossible to reach level 126 without spending lots of XP on skills and attributes, you would have to reach level 126 and then keep on playing in order to get the XP needed to max out a single skill.

To answer your exact question: no, it's not true that after purchasing 226 points of skill the next point would cost 10 xp.
