| Question: | Direct X 8.0 is on the cusp of being released, being that 99% of the time if I am playing a game, it is AC, would it be worth my time to download? |

| Answer: | DirectX8 should make no difference to AC, because AC uses the DirectX6.1 API (which is also contained in DX7 and DX8). Personally, I'd wait until you purchase a game that requires DirectX8, since it will probrobly include it on the CD and save you the download.. |
