Question: Does Mana Conversion affect the rate of the mana usage on jewelry? So instead of using 1 point per 30 seconds, it'll be 1 point per 35 sec?

Answer: No, mana conversion does not affect the rate at which items burn mana.

Mana conversion only comes into play when you explicitly activate an item's spell, such as when you cast a war spell from a wand, or when you use a magic gem.

(And yes, I realize that magic gems go away once you use them, regardless of whether they run out of mana or not, so it is useless for mana conversion to work on gems... but it does.)
