If the night skies in the daytime are an accident...

Question Title: If the night skies in the daytime are an accident...
Category: Landscape
Question: ... make it part of the storyline somehow. I've heard that most game masters in D&D; type games are able to recover from mistakes like that by instead of changing the rules (or ignoring the effect of something) they integrate it into the storyline without changing too much (perhaps its some vile shadow magic, after all, they should like the night more)... Just a suggestion!
