The Aun Tumerok speak of a great darkness beneath the island of Marae Lassel, an agent of decay they call the Wharu. They have been fighting a battle with the agents of the Wharu, the Olthoi, for many years. These weapons are crafted of the Olthoi's own chitin to strike down those who would stand against the Deru.
