Though this room often lies empty and its hangings are in decay, the braziers flanking the throne never cease to smoke. One day, a party of adventurers happened upon this crowned apparition, who remained silent and aloof until they attempted to strike him, whereupon he growled a terse warning. Is this creature known only as "zOverlord" a lieutenant of Asheron himself? Is this the noble for whom the hall is maintained?
Vicious rumor tells the following story: Having gleaned a few pyreals from a rat killed by braver men, a lowly churl hied himself to the bazaar, where he did find a tin crown at impressive discount. Skulking safely behind a party of warriors, he managed to reach this chamber and install himself without engaging any monsters. Perhaps you will discover the truth of this matter...
