Overview Edit
Quest to obtain one of Lady Maila's elemental stones (also known as Atlan Stones). The stones can be used to upgrade various weapons and armor:
- Minor and major stones can be used to upgrade Atlan Weapons and Isparian Weapons.
- Major stones can be used to upgrade Shadow Armor.
- Both the stones can also be given to an Agent of the Arcanum for a Writ of Refuge (you need 1 major stone or 2 minor stones for the writ).
- The minor stone is weaker than the major stone and therefore much easier to obtain.
Walkthrough & Notes Edit
The Major Shivering Stone Edit
- From the vault entrance room, go straight ahead into the east passage and hug the right wall. At the end you should come to a ledge looking into a large room with rock formations, jump down and head east into the passage behind the rock.
- At the end of the passage you will come out onto a catwalk back in the first area. Follow the path around to a ledge and jump across to the north catwalk.
- Now follow it west ignoring the bridge to the north and at the end shift jump across west to the catwalk. From here, follow the path north to the final area.
- You should now see a lever on the wall to your right. Pause for a moment and use your bracket keys to search for more levers. You should pick up two more levers to your left across the gap, the passage with the levers is blocked by metal grating. One of these levers opens the wooden door to the north and to the room with the stone.
- The wall lever to your right opens the door to the area behind the grating. Once you pull it, you need to run back along the path you just came from and it will lead to that area.
- Once you have pulled the lever on the left wall behind the grating (other lever closes the metal door here), run back one last time and jump across into the room for the Major Shivering Stone.
- Optional: You can take Textbook and Elaborate Scroll, that is found with the stone, to Bretself the Translator in Cragstone for translation at 26.0N, 47.0E.
The Minor Shivering Stone Edit
- To get to the igloo quickly, start in Holtburg and take the Holtburg Wilderness Settlement portal from Holtburg at 40.2N, 35.1E, this will drop you only a short run from the igloo at 42.7N, 49.8E.
- Once there you will see it is surrounded by Frost elementals, you can run right past them into the cave where you will find the Minor Shivering Stone.
- Optional: You can take the Textbook, that is found with the stone, to Bretself the Translator in Cragstone for translation at 26.0N, 47.0E.
