| Answer: | Not intrinsically - by which I mean, there's no difference in the Chance of Destruction Modifier (CDM), between the two components. The CDM value does allow us to increase or decrease a reagent's burn odds individually. More powerful spells are hardcoded to burn components more often, and since Pyreal Scarabs are used in more powerful spells... |
