Welcome Edit

Hi, welcome to Asheron's Call Community Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Beach Fort page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Immortalbob (Talk) 22:24, September 26, 2009

Hey Logan... To avoid confusion, is there any chance you can upload new stats panels for the monsters with changed levels (i.e. Kroktok Lugian). Check the "Discussion" tab of the creature's page for the current panel. I can see it being confusing if the stats panel and the page template don't match. Thanks for the updates!!! Hail on yonder Atarax!! I usually don't take screen shots of the creatures, but I can (will try to) in the future. I am not familiar with uploading any screen shots. Could I email them to you if/when I do get screen shots?--Logan Conrad 06:02, 21 January 2012 (EST)

Have you seen the Wiki Swiss Tool? This program (that Tlosk made) makes it really easy to capture screen panels at the exact right sizes. Give it a look, but if you can't figure it out, I'm sure someone can run through and create new panel images for them. Thanks again! Atarax 08:50, 21 January 2012 (EST)

Thanx for the AmmoGimp heads up I will move it ot the Discontinued section :-) --Sucamarto 9:05am, 15th March, 2012 (GMT +10)

Congratulations Logan, I have added you to the Administrators group. This will give you access to a few more features such as page/file deletion, and moving. If you have any questions, shoot me a message. --Immortalbob 11:55, 16 November 2012 (EST)

Hi Logan

Good job on getting the creatures up to date with their levels and xp rewards. Just a heads up though for when you're adding trophies (it will save you much time); you don't need to list Coalesced Mana and Coalesced Aetheria in the creature trophies as they are part of the Loot tiers (I used to think they were trophies also). A while back I removed all those drops from the creature trophy lists, but before I did I used the creature levels to fill out the table on the loot page.

thanks

Sometimes when you update an image, the new version isn't shown immediately so you need to refresh the page using your browser. If that doesn't work then you can purge the server's cache of the page. This happened to me in the past and Tlosk showed me that you can just replace "=edit" in the url bar with "=purge" to do that. I haven't had to do that for a long time now, though.

Also, sometimes new images appear in Special:UnusedFiles even though they are being used which is also due to caching. If you simply edit -> save the page without changing anything (a null edit) then they disappear from unusedfiles. --Arkalor 03:52, 7 February 2013 (EST)

Hiya Logan

Just so you know, I uploaded a large number of creature stat panels over the last month (781 in my folder) and have updated the related creature and creature class pages. I also made a list of those done here, but I'm not sure if you check recent changes and I don't want you to spend your time on creatures that are done now by mistake.

I was going do some more critters, but the update to the examination panel has messed with the swiss tool :/

I'm usually pretty big on adding lists of updates made to something (probably more than half of my edit count is just on old patch pages, patch announcements, archives and so on). I'm not bothering to do that with creatures, however, because it's just too time consuming and there are too many gaps to make it worthwhile.

The devs have also updated the creatures many times over the years including in: 2001, 2003, 2005, 2010 and now this year, and we don't have that update information listed either so I don't think it will hurt to leave it out to be honest.

I'm only going to add an update history if the creature has been singled out for a unique update such as a change to its appearance.
