=== Heritage ===
There are several possible heritage choices, depending on what innate skills you would like to start with:

* Tumerok, or Aluvian with [[Attribute and Skill Redistribution|changed innate abilities]] - Choose these races if you wish to start off with specialized Assess Creature, for using Gearcrafted Lenses.
* Undead, or Empyrean with changed innate abilities - Choose these races if you wish to start off with trained Alchemy, for using Alchemical Throwing Phials.
* Empyrean, or Undead with changed innate abilities - Choose these races if you wish to start off with specialized Arcane Lore, for easier activation of magical items.
* Sho, or Umbraen/Penumbraen Shadows with changed innate abilities - Choose these races if you wish to start off with trained Unarmed Combat.
* Gear Knight, or Viamontian with changed innate abilities - Choose these races if you wish to start off with trained Mace.
* Gharu'ndim, or Lugian with changed innate abilities - Choose these races if you wish to start off with trained Staff.
* Lugian, or Gharu'ndim with changed innate abilities - Choose these races if you wish to start off with trained Thrown Weapons.
