Geography Edit
- In the time prior to the birth of the Gharu'ndim nation, the Naqut desert was described as dividing the land of Milantos and the decaying Roulean Empire. [1]
- The ancient empire of Roulea was located north, across the Naqut, from the Gharu'ndim homelands.[1][2] The Gharu'ndim swept across the Naqut and half of Roulea was conquered. The conquest ended with the seige of Tirethas, and the nation of Gharu'n was born.[2]
- Viamont is across the sea from Gharu'n.[2]
- The Naqut Desert is to the southwest and on the far shore of the Ironsea from Aluvia[3]
- The Crimson Stars are visible year-round.[4]
- The sea is to the north of the Naqut.[4]
- Taban province is on the far side of the Naqut from Tirethas.[4]
- From Nishadina, the capital of Taban, one can see the edge of the Naqut to the north.[4]
- The Nariyid Range are the high mountains that towered over Nishadina. The Nariyid mountains are south of Nishadina.[4]
- Taban is a mountainous region. The province produced enough food to feed itself, and was chiefly known for its olive groves. There were also jewels that could be mined in the mountains.[4]
