Overview

• Everyone will need a piece of Amber for this quest. Amber can be purchased from vendors, such as Thimrin Woodsetter in Candeth Keep.
• You should loot the undead that you kill to search for Offerings to Xik Minru, which are needed to summon the boss.
• Make sure everyone picks up Geowulf's Wedding Ring in the hallways before the south exit portal in order to get Rose of Celdon ring.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Run to 73.3N 69.0E, on Vissidal Island, and enter the portal to Temple of Xik Minru in the small building.
2. Hand the piece of amber to the Causeway Sentinel to be teleported to the next dungeon.
3. Jump up onto the ledge on the left. There are small platforms on the side to help. Pull the lever to open the door to the north.
4. This is a small dungeon with Moarsmen and Niffis. Another lever opens the door with the portal to the next dungeon.
5. Optional: Pick up the first part of File:Geowulf's Journal Icon.png Geowulf's Journal on the floor of the room to the left. Two other pieces are found elsewhere in the dungeon, but only give a small amount of experience when turned in.
6. The other three small rooms have levers that open doors to the north.
7. Pick up Geowulf's Wedding Ring in the hallways before the south exit portal.
8. Continue to the portal that takes you to the boss fight platform.
9. Hand an Offering to Xik Minru to the Shrine of Xik Minru in the center part of the courtyard. to earn 50,000 xp and summon the High Priestess Xik Minru
   • Tip: She appears to be immune to both fire and acid damage.
10. Loot the Unreadable Falatacot Volume and Aurulent Key from the boss.
11. Use the key on Xik Minru's Reserve found on the platform and loot a set of dyes for Ancient Armor. The reserve also contains some Loot items.
12. Go to Branwyn, south of Arwic at 29.1N 57.9E.
13. Optional: Give Branwyn the three parts of Geowulf's Journal for a small amount of experience.
14. Give Branwyn the ring to get a Rose Quartz Wedding Ring.
15. Give the Rose Quartz Wedding Ring to Roderick in the Mite Maze to get an upgraded ring that is not attuned.
16. Optional: Give the Unreadable Falatacot Volume to Fanzen San the Translator in Hebian-To to receive the translated Book of Xik Minru.
17. Optional: Give the Book of Xik Minru to Sarkin Killcrane in Wai Jhou for a small amount of experience and Shadow Stalker Title Token.

Branwyn tells you, "Please, bold one! Would you help me find my husband Geowulf the Stonehearted? It has been weeks since he left and I am worried something awful may have happened to him!"

Branwyn tells you, "I am sorry. I should know to behave better in front of those who would help me."

Branwyn tells you, "One morning, Geowulf and I had an argument, over some silly little thing now that I think upon it. He wanted to move closer to Glenden Wood to be near his ailing father. I love Geowulf's father dearly, but Arwic has been so profitable for my small floral business that I couldn't fathom leaving. I suppose I could commute, but at the time the thought didn't even enter my mind."

Branwyn sniffles slightly and sounds as if she is on the verge of breaking into tears once again.

Branwyn tells you, "We... we fought, and he grew angry and left. On his way he took his hiking pack and canteen and I have not seen him since."

Branwyn tells you, "He would at times hike along the western reach he's of the Lost Wish range, and he always made certain to stop along the northern coast to take in the ocean view. I couldn't stand the hike, but I would often meet him at the Haliana settlement and we would walk the beach together."

Branwyn fights back another surge of tears and continues with her story.

Branwyn tells you, "I ... just I... oh Geowulf!"

Branwyn tells you, "Please find my husband! Start your search along the northern coast near that settlement I told you of. Please find him, bring me good news of my beloved!"

Causeway Sentinel

The ancient golem turns towards you and makes a menacing grinding noise. As you flinch back, the golem leans forward slightly. You can feel it working its way into your mind.

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... am entity who protect way to mistress."

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... seek you offering for mistress. Entity will grant way for proper giving."

The golem wavers slightly, you can tell the magic used to forge it has weakened.

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... bring you the pitch of age-ed forest ... bring you the stone of night... bring you the gem of sacrifice..."

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... bring one or no grant flight."

With that, the barnacled golem slumps back down upon the ground and returns to its slumber.

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... sleep..."

Handing in Amber to Causeway Sentinel

You give Causeway Sentinel Amber.

The ancient golem turns towards you and makes a menacing grinding noise. As you flinch back, the golem leans forward slightly. You can feel it working its way into your mind.

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... trespass not upon work of mistress...

Causeway Sentinel tells you, "... or face most horrible wrath...

The golem rumbles loudly at you once again and a surge of planar energy wells around you.

Causeway Sentinel teleports you with Cataracts of Xik Minru.

Handing in Geowulf's Wedding Ring to Branwyn

You give Branwyn Geowulf's Wedding Ring.

Branwyn tells you, "Ah, my love, I am slain as well."

Branwyn slips her husband's wedding band upon her finger and places her own gently in your palm.

Branwyn gives you Rose Quartz Wedding Ring.

Branwyn tells you, "Take it, I can wear it no longer."

Handing in Rose Quartz Wedding Ring to Roderick

You give Roderick Rose Quartz Wedding Ring.

Roderick tells you, "Hey...ya, I recognize this thing. Harlune told me it might be floatin... around, what with the Viamontians back and all. It's the Rose of Celdon. It's a symbol of independence or somethin' like that."
