Walk Through

Optional Purchase the Forbidden Note from Bael'Zharon in the Greater Battle Dungeon.

First you must get a Shadow Fragment or Pyreal Bar to be given access to the Forbidden Catacombs.
After you have the item you will also need to turn player killer by using one of the Altars of Bael'Zharon.
Once you're PK make your way to a Small Creepy Statue that can be found in various towns including Xarabydun (41.8S, 15.9E) and Yaraq (21.2S, 1.7W).
Double click the statue to enter the Greater Battle Dungeon and make your way down to the red area with Bael'Zharon and Guardian of the Forbidden. Go up the ramp to the Guardian and hand your item to it.
You will be portaled in to a room with a The Black Breath and 8 destroyable Doors (4 on each side).
Each of the two doors closest to each other lead to a corridor connected to rooms with various creatures including a room filled with Platinum and Plasma Golems. A room with Banderling Aggressors and ? Banderlings. A room with Virindi Quidiox, Virindi Consuls and Stalking Marguls and Creeping Marguls.
There are many floors in this dungeon, each containing more destoyable doors leading to various high level creatures.
On the second floor (pit is found in the Drudge room) you will find a room similiar to the one at the beginning, but this time with two Black Breaths.
On this floor you will find a Peerless Drudge that carries the Forbidden Key just near the room containing Gotrok Lugians.
Take the key and run to the end of the passage past the Drudges, destroy this door and jump into the pit to the third area.
Run past the area with the Virindi Consul and the Creeping Marguls to another pit. You should now be in a safe area with a stone statue of Bael'Zharon.
At the end of this section is ledge overlooking a room with four Forbidden Chests. There are no creatures in this room, however, once you jump down Drudge Cabalists and Platinum Golems will drop from the room above.
Use the key on one of the chests for your rewards.

Warning If you die in this dungeon you will not be able to return without handing the Guardian another Shadow Fragment or Pyreal Bar.

You give Guardian of the Forbidden Pyreal Bar.
Guardian of the Forbidden tells you, "A symbol of Greed -- you may enter."
