I removed Ink of Transformation for the moment, I believe it may be an error, if anyone has found this themselves, please let us know or put it back with a capture, thanks. --Tlosk 19:56, 21 September 2008 (CDT)

Yeah, that would be interesting. --Tlosk 13:25, 21 September 2008 (CDT)

I found some of my old pictures from Beta and early retail, some of which feature the old spell research panels, should I upload one or 2?--Jedismj 22:08, 20 September 2008 (CDT)

I'm guessing that ink of nullification and the quill of extraction might make the dispels, what I'm not sure about is if they will use the creature/item/life magic glyphs or if there will be special glyphs. --Tlosk 23:30, 10 September 2008 (CDT)

By the way, it looks like they tweaked the experience earned from skill checks for level 8 spells. Normally if you passed a skill check of, say, 252, you'd earn 252 xp into that skill, and 25 xp (10%) into your unused experience. When I cast a level 8 life protection spell, though (skill check of 455), I earn 1001 into the skill, and 91 to unassigned.

In fact, they may have reduced the xp earned for lower level skill checks too...

By the way, the AC+ decal plugin shows the skill checks and experience earned.

"Success rate with skill buffed to 435 was about 33%." Could you expand on what this refers to, is this able to use the scroll? Is the scroll lost if fails? --Tlosk 05:27, 1 September 2008 (CDT)

Also, the devs have said in the release notes that there are no level 8 vulns, imperil, or defender. Those spells are not possible to learn. -Konnir

I changed "benevolence + nullification != (skill)" to "benevolence + nullification != (non-magic school skill)" since it is ambiguous. It seems likely that magic school glyphs are used here, and unless someone has actually tried it we should be clear that it hasn't been tested.
