* During the [[Repercussions]] event, when appraisal of items was removed, the skill became [[Item Tinkering]].
* During the [[Master of Arms]] event, [[Gearcraft|Gearcrafting]] was removed and integrated into [[Item Tinkering]].
* Until [[Master of Arms]], Item Tinkering was trained for free on [[Character Races#Gharu'ndim|Gharu'ndims]], and on [[Character Races#Lugian|Lugians]] with [[Attribute and Skill Redistribution|changed innate abilities]].
